After a delicious hotel breakfast this morning, our team explored the bazaar! From dried fruit to jewelry to toothpaste, the bazaar has it all. We were able to pick up some fun souvenirs for ourselves, family, and friends. For lunch, I had a traditional local dish, Plov. It was amazing!

After lunch our team took part in initiative evangelism. Myself and two of the local team members met four university girls in the park and we began talking with them. These girls were very engaged in our conversation and wanted to know as much as they could about America. After some picture taking, we started into a spiritual conversation with them. I was able to share my testimony and we went through the four spiritual laws (the Gospel in four points). They were very receptive and open to what we were saying which was encouraging. The local team members I was with are going to meet up with the girls next week to continue learning about Jesus.

Our prayers are with all of those we've met with this week, that a seed is planted in each and every one of them and that they are filled with the power of the Holy Spirit. It is evident that God is on the move here in this city. Praise Jesus for our awesome local team. They have put in countless hours of translating, evangelizing, and organizing this week. I'm going to be so sad to leave them! Here's to a wonderful trip so far and to an awesome last day in here in this city!

Today is International Women's Day, and my favorite day so far.

We began with a 2 hour coaching seminar, and it was well-attended, with nearly 20 coaches, some of them driving about 90 minutes to attend.

We discussed what makes a good coach, and presented the concept of positive reinforcement as the model. There was much discussion, but the training was well-received. The players were involved heavily at the end of the session, and the coaches enjoyed watching their skills and prowess.

Afterward, we had lunch and met some students to share with. Then we were back in the gym for a couple of hours scrimmaging with any team who wanted to face them. There were 3 teams that chose to participate, and our players played well against them. We ended the day with a great supper, and are ready for tomorrow. It has been a fruitful week, with our players getting to share the gospel many times each.

So today was a pretty busy day. In the morning we played the championship match of the city tournament put on by the mayor and won! As a prize we got a trophy, a plaque and six ten piece knife sets! I think we, also, won the respect of many of the players.

One team in particular was a group of high school aged girls. They wanted to know why we could be so calm on the court. This gave us the opportunity to talk about where we find our self worth. This lead to a gospel-centered conversation, and they seemed to be fairly receptive to what we had to say.

We are going to have a chance to talk to them some more on Thursday so please continue to pray for our team: that we would be bold in proclaiming the Gospel, and also pray for the people here, that their hearts would be softened to the gospel. In the afternoon we all split up with our translators and met with different friends we met at the tournament, to share a meal with them and to share about God!

We will get to do that everyday the rest of the week! We are excited to see the what God will do the rest of this week.
